Instagram Posts Starting February 14, 2021 on Koopo

These guidelines will serve as guidance for how our users are expected to conduct themselves when using the platform and its services. 

These guidelines are a part of our Terms of Use Agreement. By registering for and using the services on KoopoOnline, you agree to be bound by all guidelines, our Terms of Use Agreement and all other policies and guidelines of KoopoOnline, herein incorporated by reference.

Koopo Online will not knowingly allow itself to be used as a tool for crime, civil torts, or other unlawful acts. We will remove reported user content that violates our policies and or constitutes any activities prohibited therein.   In the same way, we may also remove user accounts. 

When applicable, under the law, we may be required to exclude content from our platform once it is reported to us.  Some clear examples include, child sexual abuse material, content posted by or on behalf of terrorist organizations, intellectual property theft.


Users on Koopo Online can post and share multiple types of content on our platform.  This content includes:

  • Posting to User Profiles
  • Creating Blog Post articles
  • Creating Community Groups and posting in groups.
  • Creating Forums and posting in forums.
  • Posting Jobs Postings for employment opportunities;
  • Creating Events and selling tickets.
  • Creating Business Profile pages.
  • Creating Music Pages and posting music.
  • Uploading and sharing Videos.
  • Creating Storefronts and posting Products for sell.

Content in general, Profile Pages, Groups, Forums, Jobs, Music, Businesses, Stores, Videos, and Events must not:

  • promote products, services, schemes, or offers using deceptive or misleading business practices, including those intended to scam people out of money or personal information. 
  • impersonate or falsely represent a brand, entity, or public figure.
  • promote, depict, incite, call to action, and/or advocate harm and/or violence against people, animals or property.
  • post content that is intentionally misrepresentative and is misleading.
  • Promote individuals and/or organizations involved in terrorist activity, mass murder, organized hate, human trafficking and organized violence and crime.
  • promote online gambling, or gaming where anything of monetary value (including digital currencies) is required to play and anything of monetary value forms part of the prize, without our prior written permission. Common types of gambling or gaming activities which may require permission include betting, lotteries, raffles, casino, fantasy sports, bingo, poker, skill game tournaments and sweepstakes.
  • inaccurately tag content or encourage users to inaccurately tag content.
  • incentivize people to misuse Koopo Online features or functionality.
  • promote drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers that are misleading, engaging in practices that are harmful to patients, or otherwise violating applicable laws.
  • collect users’ content or information, or otherwise access Koopo Online, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without written permission from Koopo Online.
  • promote the sale of prescription pharmaceuticals. Pages for online pharmacies may be permitted with Koopo Online’s prior approval.
  • have names with profanity, excessively incorrect grammar, or punctuation, and must not consist solely of generic terms or locations.


Any user information that you collect directly from other users, you must make it clear that you are collecting this information and not Koopo Online. 

In some instances, Koopo Online may provide user information to other users.  For example, when a user purchases a product from another user and the product is shipped, contact information and address information will be provided to the seller of the merchandise so that it can be sent to the purchaser.  For more information see our Privacy Notice

You must provide notice and obtain consent for the use of any information that you collect above and beyond the information that is provided to you generally as a user, seller, blogger, business, etc.

Your Profile Page must include all necessary disclosures to people using Koopo Online, such as any disclosures needed to indicate the commercial nature of content posted by you.


Content posted on Koopo Online is generally public and can be viewed by everyone who can see the Page, unless specifically set to private.  

For private content the user must specifically designate the content as private which will restrict the content to the creator of the content. Some content can be set as password protected for content you wish to only share with those who you provide the password with.


Events must provide clear and up-front disclosure for any actions or additional costs associated with an event ticket purchase.

Changes to an event must not result in a misleading or unintended connection and must not substantially change the event.


See our Prohibited Items Policy for a list of items not allowed to be sold on Koopo Online.  In addition to the items listed in our Prohibited Items Policy, the following goods, services, or brands may not be promoted and is prohibited:

  • Violations of Koopo Online Policies and Guidelines.
  • Illegal products or services
  • Tobacco products, vaporizers, electronic cigarettes, or any other products that simulate smoking.
  • Drugs and drug-related products, including illegal, prescription, or recreational drugs.
  • Unsafe supplements, including but are not limited to anabolic steroids, chitosan, comfrey, dehydroepiandrosterone, ephedra, and human growth hormones.
  • Weapons, ammunition or explosives, including but not limited to firearms (including firearms parts, ammunition, paintball guns and bb guns), firearm silencers or suppressors, weapons (including pepper spray, non-culinary knives/blades/spears, tasers, nunchucks, batons, or weapons intended for self-defense), or fireworks or explosives.
  • Adult products or services, except for family planning and contraception
  • Payday loans, paycheck advances, and bail bonds


Some sensitive content can only be promoted with restrictions, such as restricting who can see the post based on age or geographical location.   When any violations of these guidelines and policies become known to Koopo Online, in some cases, we will remove the violating content without notice.

Branded content promoting or referencing any of the following must comply with all applicable local laws, required or established industry codes, guidelines, licenses and approvals:

  • Alcohol
  • Over-the-counter drugs
  • Subscription services include negative options, automatic renewal, free-to-pay conversion billing products, or mobile marketing.
  • Financial and insurance products and services including credit cards, loans, insurance services, misleading or deceptive services related to student loan consolidation, forgiveness, or refinancing.
  • Cosmetic procedures, including cosmetic surgery, cosmetic procedures, weight loss products, or weight loss services.
  • Family planning and contraception. Must only focus on the contraceptive features of the product, and not on sexual pleasure or sexual enhancement.
