Accountant II

Ally Financial is hiring an Accountant II for its Corporate Accounting and Shared Services team in downtown Detroit. In this role, you’ll support high-volume cash accounting — reconciling bank and cash clearing accounts, posting journal entries during close, and partnering with vendors on escheatment compliance. Ideal candidates have at least a year of accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The position offers a $55,000–$95,000 base salary plus eligibility for Ally’s annual incentive plan.
