Full Stack Software Engineer

Join Ford’s Connected Vehicle Data team and help turn the telemetry streaming from millions of vehicles into tools engineers and drivers can use. You’ll build and maintain REST APIs and microservices in Java and Spring Boot, create data-exploration dashboards in React or Angular, and wire up high-volume Kafka and Pub/Sub pipelines deployed on OpenShift and Google Cloud. The team works with GitHub Copilot daily and is building an AI assistant that answers plain-English questions about vehicle data. Requires a CS-related bachelor’s, 1–4 years of professional software experience, hands-on Java/Spring Boot, working SQL, Git, automated testing, and basic Docker/cloud familiarity. Salary grades: $85,400–$143,200 for grade 6 and $99,600–$166,600 for grade 7. Hybrid role (on-site 4+ days per week in Dearborn).
